About:

Ice Ball was created during Sheridan's annual  Sprint Week  of November 2016. During this Sprint Week we were given the task of creating a playground game which we then turned into a digital adaption using the key game play mechanics and rules.

Role:

​

  • Lead Game Designer

    • Created the main game play and mechanics which included the combination of different playground games to form IceBall.​

    • Took the main mechanics from the playground game and implemented them into the digital adaption.

​

  • 3D Modeler

    • Modelled and textured the penguin character. 

​

Challenges:

​

  • Problem: Making models that had coherent art styles 

​

  • Solution: Worked in close proximity and shared techniques in order to match art and model designs

​
